Red Linen?

Thinking about maybe ordering 'Red Linen' instead of the usual 'Black Canvas' for the knife handle. I know there is a small product photo on the S!K web site but could somebody please post a photo of a red linen S!K? Thank you.

Also, why is there no option for Tan G10 for the new knives?

Here is a customer submitted photo of a red linen handle. I will note that the intensity of the color does sometimes change a little bit from batch to batch. Sometimes it is a bit dull and other times it is extremely vibrant. On the tan G-10, we stopped carrying it and a few other colors because they weren't very popular.

I have one GSO ordered with a red handle and I plan on my next few purchases to have red handles as well. Over time I had saved a few pictures I found online to help me decide if red is what I really wanted.

Standard, is that an FDE sheath?
 
That combination does look good!

My factory second 5 is coming with a red handle and OD green sheath. I'm hoping it looks as good in person as I see it in my mind. I'm torn between more of this same color scheme or trying red handle plus coyote tan sheath. Decisions, decisions!

The red linen with OD Green kydex is definitely one of my favorites. It has an old school L.L. Bean kind of look to it that I find very appealing.
 
Glad from the photos have that dirty dull red - the bright red much less so. Pleased that extra scales for each model will be produced. I have faith the new 7.7 will have a sultry appeal with the dull red.

That is what I just preordered in the Bushcraft. Then I saw this post. Maybe I was subliminally inspired at LL Bean the other day! Anyway, I like it and can't wait for my first Survive Knife.

Now that I have red linen in my hands I just wanted to check if you needed any more pics. Did you already make a decision and a purchase?

Ordered a 4.5, 6, and 10 with red linen but would definitely like to see some photos. It will take a while before I get those knives.

Lars, way to commit to the red linen! I figured you'd have made a purchase by now, and now I know. I know what it's like to feel undecided about a purchase and I've gotten a lot of help from folks here.

If I end up with some shots that really shown off the red, I'll be sure to post back here. Speaking of pics...

Thanks. I bet the red linen knives will look nice with the three black canvas starters that will eventually show up in the mailbox as well. I already have one GSO in green and one in black; maybe too many knives?

I take a lot of photos in my free time and since many people liked them I started a facebook photo page a while ago. It has a lot of likes and thousands of photos by now. I hope it is ok to post a link to it here...

You really have an artistic eye and skill with your cameras and equipment.

The photos of the night sky are unlike anything I had ever seen. At some point I really want to purchase some prints to display in my house.
