Can't help but be a little curious: Does anyone know why the Forge doesn't ever use red liners?

Thurin has an OLD SCHOOL bushfinger with red liners. Just might not be something they've done recently, but they've definitely used them.

I have a Hunter with a Pink liner but I've never seen red. I think red would really go nice with some of the wood handles.

There are a few reasons why we don't use red. It is hard to find a true red pinstripe in the G10 we use, looks like a crimson red. Also, it tends to disappear with most of the colors that we use for liners and scale material.

Interesting. Thanks Allen. Mostly I was just curious.

Still...

All I'm saying is this: Black canvas micarta over black with a crimson pinstripe. I will buy that. Especially if you, say, put it on a 1/8" A2 Esquire. And a matching Monarch.

;)

To me the red only really pops when it is sandwiched between black. Dylan has done a lot of this, but it's definitely not a common handle config for Fiddleback.
