So here is a group shot of all production Bucks that were handled in the red, aka burgundy, micarta, aka Buckarta. I am missing the 106 Ax.
The 124, 106, 401 and 402 only used burgundy for a undetermined, short period of time and it is generally accepted that they are somewhat rare.
The 200 Empress Trio and the 206 Windsor Set can be found in either red or black. Both colors seem to pop up with the same regularity.
I hope the color comes out. I tried everything and kept getting more of a black color.

Joe! and Others et al..........
Since burgandy/maroon has some purple tinge to it, I have found that a purple or royal purple (not lavender or that any self-respecting guy would even consider such) will highlight the purplish hues of the burgandy/maroon and really stand the handle 'out'! Certain reds will too, since of course there are red hues in the burg/maroon.
..........for what it is worth
