Wow, nice set of chitlangis! Man how I hate having limited fun money. There have been some great knives this week. Shark on!

There you go Bawanna. You could custom checker that handle and increase it's value two-fold and it'd look good on your wall......

That's the beauty of antler, it really don't need checkering.

Lachhu and neem? Aren't those two of gurkha berserkas favorites together. He better be setting down when he sees those.

Man, that blood moon sure was pretty. My wife has been getting me out of bed for for the last couple months to exercise (doc says we have high cholesterol even though we watch what we eat and blah blah blah), so I was up in time to see the brilliant moon then the long slow slide to a tawny red.

Hmm that hasiya would be a great pumpkin carving knife;) I hope we see more of those. Hasiyas are super handy clearing grass. Mine is beat to death but still rocking along. Great knife. Everyone needs one;)

I am so tempted to grab that other Chitlangi but I have two kukri's in transit right now. I also received a couple last week as well. I know I am going to kick myself in the butt if I don't grab it. I will give it another hour or two, then I wont be able to stop myself. Please someone buy big brother. Save me from myself!

Personally, I'd grab it, they make a really nice set! Go for it GB.

Man theres some handsome brothers! In between 20" and 25". I bet they handle awesome. Thats a great length and neem:thumbup:

I don't have a Chit yet and tempted too.

What is the purpose of a Chitlangi?

Pure unadulterated beauty to start with! Two deep fullers you can swim in with your other half...or just do laps by yourself:D
They have a bit thinner edge than the Sirupati and are generally lighter feeling on the front end. Nice balance especially for light brush and weed whackin! Everyone should have a Chitlangi. Definitely one of my favorites. You should snag it sno. You wont be sorry! That size is very rare. Usually they are 21" or 25".

I waited long enough. It was meant to be mine and I cant resist it. ems on the 23 inch 40 ounce Chitlangi by Lachhu. Neem wood handle. Standard leather scabbard. Big brother for $245

Grats gb! Keepin the brothers together. Now you can post a pic in the "Crossed" thread

moparbobs actually got little brother. I know I said I want the other one, but I meant the other available one lol. Im not sure where he lives but I am sure we can work out a time for the brothers to get together and play ;). He beat me to the little one or I probably would of gotten both and mounted them on my office wall.

Got the "done deal"! Auntie Yangdu was so gracious as to include baby Hasiya from Manakamana as a gift. I can not thank her enough for all that she has done. She has offered me such wonderful deals and this forum is just icing on the cake. I encourage everyone to buy as many HI kukris as humanly/financially possible. I feel so much better knowing my money is going to Auntie, HI, the Kamis and their families. To often these days we spend money with no idea who its going to or what its going to support. HI is a different entity all together. The money goes were it is needed most and not back into the hands of the wealthy. Buying an HI kukri is contributing to the good karma of the world and I for one and proud to support it.
