Went for a run down to southern Utah to my buddies house for a visit. Lives just down the road from the entrance to Bryce Canyon in redrock country. This is the view from the front porch, that's the Seveir River across the street, don't be fooled. It rages in the spring and flash floods.

Here is a shot from the driveway

While I was there I also built a shed for my friends wife to keep her yardcare stuff in.

But Tom!, you ask, What does a shed have to do with knives?? Not that shed. These sheds!

Sweet! I just came back from Antimony also just outside Brice Canyon. I caught a 25" brownie out of the Seveir river and a bunch of Bows at Otter Creek. We saw about six cow elk the first morning we were there. Lots of fun!

Got friends in Antimony too. Helped one friend of mine with his house down there, went from Salt Lake local yokel to Antimony rancher. His wife owns the store in "town". Place is loaded with Elk

Nice haul man. Here in indiana we want elk sheads we pay dearly for them. Usually 15 bucks a pound. A guy I know gettin out of the business sold his last stock to me. I saw the oprotunity and bought all I could afford. The deal was good but not a sweet as yours!

Man thats some beautiful country there. Great work on the shed, hopefully dosn't turn out to be a secondary "doghouse" How many acres he got out there?

80 on a mountain The doghouse is a 40x60 foot steel building with 16' eves and 12x14 overhead doors. I built that a few years ago. It' the "his" of the "his and hers" sheds, has a loft , power and plumbing

That is beautiful country!
And I can't wait to see what the finished product looks like from your haul.

No freakin way! Are you talking about Dave Smith? What a small world!

That's crazy what a small world! I know Mitch, the guy that owns the land Dave has his cattle on. It's actually where we stay when we go up there. We stay in the cabin thats right off the road there and we fish the river and hunt the hills right on the other side. I helped Dave blow up some beaver dams a couple months ago, he is good people!
