red Snap-it questions

I'm filling in at Engine 7 and one of my crew pulls out a red Snap-it.

When did it go out of production ? When did it come out? and was black the bigger seller? How many red were made?

Just want this info to let him know about the knife. I did sharpen it and clean it today for him.

From what I understand the red one is only sold through A. G. Russell. That's where I got mine.

We make it as an exclusive for AG Russell. They usually have some in stock. It's an unusual knife, right hand only, has a US patent.

Ok how about the orange handled one with the rescue style blade? Have one but don't know who they were made for.

The snap-it is my wifes favorite. I've run other Spydercos, Benchmades, CRKs past her and she still likes that design the best.
