Hi guys,

Sorry it took me so long, but I finally got some shots of my newest GEC knife; a nice Northfield #72 Red Stag Mini-Lockback. It's a very nice example that opens smoth and locks tight. The fit and finish is excellent, as is the match on the slender stag scales. I hope you like the pics.

I have red jigged bone in the model 72. Does anyone know what the bolsters are made of in these knives?

Can only agree with what has already been said - really nice knife! Looks almost like a Custom made knife.

Thanks guys,

GEC hasn't always had good luck with their Red Stag, but this last batch looked pretty good, and my dealer found me a nice one.

Dennis,

You've been making all of us jealous for long enough...now it's your turn to drool. ;)

nice! I have a 72 in regular stag and the stag is fantastic but it swells pretty wide at the butt - your scales are much flatter which I prefer

Joe-bob that is a handsome knife! I think I like GEC's red stag better than their burnt stag - mind you, that's based on pics posted by you, and some by Rick in the past, and not because I actually own one those beauties. Congrats!
