When I rehang should I put a pin in the head like the guy before me?
The last picture is a couple of collin cruisers I found in the last 2 wks and a non brand marked (swamper?) but marked 3^1.

I suspect that the pin hole is not original, and that a previous owner had had a head embarrassingly, or unsafely, fly off once. I'm imagining a spooked fellow looking at the broken windshield on his truck and holding only an axe handle. I suppose it's cheap insurance if you drill through the haft after install and then drive a piece of brass rod through.
