Just finished up this order yesterday. I haven't been able to contact the ordery yet, I sure hope he'll like it.

OAL - 9 1/8" w/ 4 1/4" blade. Mosaic damascus blade made from 1080, 15n20 solid stock and 4600 and 1084 powder.
Guard, and pommel are made from the same mosaic. Handle is professionally stabilized maple burl.

Thanks for lookin,

Another piece of art! You turned that one pretty quick. I'm guessing you have a good deal of that bar left.

If you would like, send it to me and I'll see the it get's to him. :D I love it! Has all American written all over it. Very nice!

I need an icon of eyes bugging out, chin on the ground and tounge hanging out! Great knife!

Thanks everyone for the comments, they are truly appreciated.

Ray, actually there's not much of the bar left at all, thats one thing about mosaics and accordian cutting, most of the bar is left on the floor.

Hmm... given accordian cuttign takes triangular wedges out of the bar, what do you do with the wedges? are they big enough to flatten out and make windchimes or round ninja shuriken or something with? seems a waste to have all that damascus on hand and not make somethign of it :P

Bill do you have people that come over to your shop like Bowie does?? They always check the floor first when coming in. :D :D

Thank you all again for the nice comments, it does an old hillbilly knifemaker good. ;)

Kiwi303, no the pieces aren't wasted, these pieces are saved and then incorporated into another mosaic bar that will make a unique, totally 1 of a kind bar.

Thanks again,

Bill

Ya know bill, most of the time when I see peoples knives, I think, "Wow, nice knife" but it seems every time I see one of yours, I think "Wow, I want that knife"

I'm amazed as always
