Red wings for the Missus

hi gents (and ladies.) i want to gift the wifey with a pair of nice work boots. she's an architect and often goes to the site. though experienced in construction, she's not used to wearing work boots. i'm bent on red wings (a personal pref). a 6-inch 2326 might be useful for her (steel toe, elec hazard, supersole) but i thought this might be too stiff for her. she's on the frail side, with slim size 6 feet, not very careful with her steps (at times.)

I have 2 pairs of Red Wings and I love them, but they are heavy. No way I could ever get my girlfriend to wear shoes that weigh that much. I had a pair of Danner Strikers with a composite safety toe that were very comfortable and light weight. Might want to try those instead. Nothing beats a trip to a well stocked boot store to have her try a bunch on and see what she likes.
