Rediscovering love of butterflies

I had bought a butterfly knife about 7 or 8 years ago at a local knife store. It was the first knife I ever sharpened myself and the first one that I was able to shave my arm hair with. I used to play with that thing constantly and just flip it open and closed for about 5 minutes at a time. Then i found it was illegall to carry, but not buy, so I put it under my bed and got some lockbacks that were legal to carry, but werent as much fun. I looked under the bed last night in my knife box and found it again. I couldnt resist playing with it and was hooked. it has a 4" blade, clip point style. Plain, cheap, very loose handles. But I love it anyway! I am thinking of trying to make one. Any ideas? I have made a few blades on my own now and it would be a neat project, I think. Is there a website that has descriptions of how to do the stuff with it and pictures? I just opened and closed it one way and never learned all of the cool stuff. Any suggestions?

Welcome back to the wonderful world of the Balisong Taz.

I love the way people always seem to gravitate back to them, even after a loooooong time away.

As Chuck mentioned (thanx Chuck), my site has quite a bit of info for ya', so go look around in there for awhile.

If you have any questions or problems you can e-mail me, but I'd prefer you use the forum here. That way everyone can join in.
