A knife in your psk is a philosophical debate. There are those, like me, that think a knife is more important than a psk and will therefore already have a knife on them(or two). Meaning a teeny knife in your psk is dead weight and a person is better served with an extra fire starter or two. YMMV.an Altoid tin is larger cirner to corner than a Skoal (or whatever brand) can.
sure, a CRKT Ritter Mk5 PSK might fit in the Skoal can, but the blade is tiny. some of the makers here on BF make some PSKs that *just* fit in a tin corner to corner.
i expect that some things will just be easier to back in a rectangular tin than a round can.
