My Buck 110 has some play in the blade, nothing substantial, but I would like to tighten it. I don't really want to send it to Buck as I voided the warranty by putting new scales on it, and I really don't want to take the risk of it getting lost in shipping or something. So is there a way to do this without damaging the knife? Thank you in advance, I'm open to any suggestions.

I´ve had the problem on a GEC #73 several years ago and I finally could repair it. As well as on a GEC #72 which is a lockback as well. It worked for me on that ways.

You might want to lightly peen it too... to lock it all in place. Then clean up, sand and buff the bolsters afterward.
