redundancy?

I have a bk-7 which I utilize as my heavy task woods knife when out for more than a day.. I normally couple it with a victorinox forrester Liner locking folder... ( the 2 handle most any task) however now I own a bk11 and carry it everywhere.... was wondering if its too redundant to have to sturdy fixed blades despite the length difference?

I often leave the bk7 on my pack so it seems handy to have a necker in case I get seperated from my gear.. However.. Don;t want to look like a gear ninja either....
Thoughts?

nothing wrong with a large task knife on the pack, a SAK in the pocket and a small fixed blade on the neck or belt. I personally find a neck knife easier to use, very accessible.

Redundant? No. Handy? Yes.

Just a guess, but I'll bet you'll find yourself using the BK-11 more than either of the other two.

I would tend to agree with the "two is one" mentality. The 7 will do the larger chores and the SAK is great as is, but having another smaller fixed blade is huge. You break that SAK folder and you are down a small blade. I usually have my EDC, a multitool, and one or two smaller knives (Mora, SOG Field Pup, those types) as well as larger knives. So I have three small knives no question every time I head out. Not saying it is right, just saying that is how I roll. If I can add capacity/capability without adding weight, I will do it all day long.
