Nothing new to read here. Same old...same old. I hesitate to even post this thread but I just couldn't help myself. I just got through chopping some old, gnarly, dried out and tough as heck 5 inch diameter limbs with my 9 from a fallen tree that's been felled over a year ago.

This thing never really stops impressing me. I know I've made this kind of post before but I'm just saying. Having the number of Kuk's and other large blades (choppers) that I have.....the 9 is an absolute machine. Especially for the weight. And again....the the ergonomic handle.....which is the most efficient handle design on the market today in my opinion.......allows for such an increase in chopping power when choked down on. Just awesome and fun to use.

The idea of taking pics didn't even occur to me at the time.......however about 6 months ago (yeah, yeah....I know.....a lot of good that does us now) I did post pics of my BK 9 vs the Cold Steel Gurka Kukri, Kangee Tomahawk and Estwing Hatchet in a "3 chop per blade depth test" into the exact same wood I chopped up today. The 9 actually held its own against the Kuk.

3 chops are hardly conclusive and I even stated in that thread that I believed the Cold Steel Gurka Kukri would naturally pull ahead but it was still a bit of a testament to the 9.

Completely understand brother. I take full responsibility for not being responsible. I get pissed as hell when I open threads with no pics! For whatever redeeming there is.......we moved from country living with no neighbors and 5 acres land locked with 100 acres more of private land where I had full access to.......to apartment living in a city. Are you able to say LIVING HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should be back to country living soon and I will be gladly posting pics as often as possible due to the convenience of no more neighbors and lots of woods!
