Went to the knife show in Marlboro, MA, and picked up this beauty.
John Hanlon, who was there, kindly emailed this pic to me, since
I am a camera klutz. I do not know who took the pic.

Hopefully the guys who hang around in the traditional forum will also notice.

Blade steel is ATS-34. Closed length: 3.6 inches.
Scales- white MOP

I could describe the fit and finish in detail, but if I just say "Bose",
you will get it.

That's funny. That's my picture of what used to be my knife. I just posted it in traditional in the sowbelly thread. You know that's the knife that he entered at Blade? Looks like it has been through several dealers' hands since I sold it near the end of summer. Enjoy.

With those springs and those sharp blades, that thing is a demon poised waiting to bite you in that pose!

JH & Co. are the best. You have excellent taste, as you have already proven.

Congrats!

It was especially nice of John considering that I didn't buy it from him.

I did buy my first Bose knife from him.
He lives pretty close to me, and one night he came over and laid several
multiblades on my dining room table. It was a tough night for decision-making, I'll tell you that.

Mike- that is indeed a funny coincidence. The knife, by the way, is minty-fresh. Thanks for taking good care of it.

Shaldaq,

Ah, one dealer then and I have a pretty good idea who it might be. I was terrfied I was going to drop that knife and crack the pearl so I barely took it out of the pouch. And Coop is right, those 5-bladers love to eat fingertips.

Great knife, but out of my league. Glad it has found a good home.

Is not that actual knife pictured in Dec. Blade ?

That is flippin' beautiful.

Coop is right , I cut my thumb just looking at the pic !

:)

I was at that Marlboro show. Was that knife on someone's table? Paul Farina maybe, or Michael Donato?

I got a chance to handle a Reese Bose shadow pattern there, spring was really strong but what a a beauty.

Well, I don't guess that Paul Farina would mind if I tell y'all that it was on his table. He had a number of nice items, as did Michael Donato.

I have been to a few of those Marlboro shows, and this one was by far the best.
I usually go primarily to see all the old stuff that Art Green has for sale.

Actually this pattern is known as a 5 blade Roger's. I believe this knife has changed hands four times since being sold at the 2006 BladeShow in Atlanta.
