My newest. This thing opens/closes/locks smooth as hell!

Nice. That is a sweet blade, CM. V-grind yes?

This is doubly good news too -- since it probably means that my Saif is close to being done as well. Hell yes.

I didn't get this one from Reese. I traded my modded ZT300 for it. It's flat ground on both sides. Likely S30V.

Nice! I've got a couple Reese Commanders with Ti handles that are awesome.

Nice one Matt, I like FF grind with that tanto style, I bet it cuts like a mad monkey on crack. :)

Traded for it. A dude on the right coast.

Just received my CQC7 -- opening action was a bit stiff; however, after some break-in and quality lube all is well. That said, the liner lock release is really stiff and requires a pretty strong thumb to disengage. Further, it disengages with a very audible "click." Are all factory fresh Emersons this rough? Other than its way too stiff liner lock and long-standing issue with the loose pivot screw (will remedy with Locktite), I remain a fan of the ruggedness of the CQC7. My collection includes a number of Benchmade blades -- those knives were smooth as silk from the factory. Welcome comments and suggestions.

All Emersons come a bit harsh. Just gives you more reason to get it broken in!

Hey bro... get in contact with Reese Weiland! His stamp says Tampa!
