Reeve knife carry at the office is OK for me!

When I first started at my current job a while back and found out they had a "no weapons" policy that was rather unspecific, I was a bit paranoid.

However, I've been carrying my Small Classic Sebenza clipped to my pocked for quite some time and it's been A-OK.

I whip it out a lot to open containers of paper products (I'm a packaging designer.) and often leave it open on my desk as I go through a box.

Many people have seen it, including my boss, and nobody seems to have a problem with it. It seems to be just this side of scary.

That's good news.

I'd like to officially say that the Small Sebenza is a good office-carry knife.

Nice, that's good to hear. And glad you use your Sebenza! The Seb looks like a very gentlemanly tool, not like a scary weapon - I think the gray tones have to do with it too, in addition to the design (as opposed to shiny blade on black handle).

One of these days I'm going to get me one too =) missed a great deal on a user Sebenza on BST a week ago!

Our employee manual also prohibits "weapons" on the premisis. I have carried and used a sm moonsong seb or mnandi every day for about a year now and have had no complaints.

In fact, my CEO saw the moonsong on my desk one day and asked to see it. He commented that he liked it and showed me the Wm Henry that he carries daily.

My office also has a policy against "Dangerous Weapons". The wording later in the policy is that Knives with blades longer than 3 inches are not to be brought onto company property. So I work real hard picking knives that fit the rule. Right now my first Seb will be a small LE when they do the Ivory versions later this year, and I am looking forward to moving it into the EDC slot. Steven

I use my small sebbies daily in work with no problem, like it was mentioned the seb is not a scary knife.

My company has the same, policy. They look down on my lone wolf t2, so I got a Mnandi with ironwood inlays, so far no complains. In fact the regional manger stopped by and like the classy knife. He showed me his small sebbie. LOL!!!
