??? ref #33 Conductor...

Hey all,

Is the #33 Conductor a 3-spring or 2-spring? I'm looking at one for my son as a gift but never seen one in hand. So far from pics I can find I can't tell ref the springs. I'm guessing it's probably a 3-spring with those two pen-blades?

IIRC, the Conductor whittler is a 2-spring knife, with the main blade riding on both springs.
 
I think the 2 springs are split with a tapered liner though, rather than being parallel? I think pertinux posted a few pictures of this model from some good angles somewhere here.

Well I ordered a #33 Conductor whittler 3-blade in blood red jigged bone and it's being shipped straight to my son in Virginia. Thanks to everyone for the responses. This is a gorgeous knife in blood red. My newest GEC is a Northfield #79 Workhorse 2-blade in blood red and I LOVE IT! It's such an intense, deep red and it's just amazing to look at.

Can't wait til he receives it, he has no idea... :)
