referral earnings?

I see mention of referral earnings in contact details on my profile. What exactly is it?

Oh darn,I was hoping that if we referred someone to a sale thread we'd get a cut.

No problem, the forum just glitched. When I opened a thread I couldn't see any new posts but could see that someone posted in it from the tech support forum page that lists all the threads.

Things like that need to be separate threads. Since you can't id the thread there's not much I can do to track it down
