It appears that if we would like to talk about a good deal on a product (or BAD or UGLY deal) it has to be done in the Good, Bad, Ugly section, ONLY.

You can talk about gear there, but when you want to talk about where to buy gear, come to TGB&U.
Not a day goes by that someone doesn't ask "where to get something" or some such question. Also, people post a link showing and item , for purpose of description, or as an example or "hey look what i got".
It appears that this may be construed as "advertizing".
I am only posting this here, in Wilderness/Survival section because we had a post moved for this very reason.
I actually would like to hear of deals like this one, so, I guess PM or Email is the way to go.
I might set up a DEAL site, for Wilderenss Survival stuff that users can go to for checking for neat stuff, since it's not allowed here. Maybe it will help Bladeforums with problems they are having?
We talk about non-knife products a good deal of the time, so, just don't do any "deal spotting" here in W&S.
But if it's a killer deal on survival gear, Email me!
