Hey guys just thought I would share... I am waiting the arrival of a 'Godspeed Tactical' sheath and got bored. I am happy with the results so far. I know a lot of people don't like this sheath for different reasons. I actually like the sheath and will use it sometimes when not using the knife for my intended purpose. Anyway... First thing I did was take the sheath and step on it so it would flatten out to allow the knife to slide in without cutting into the sheath as we have all seen in that one guys YouTube video. Quick fix to a deal breaker for some people, lol... I didn't really like color and thought what the hell let's try some black Rit Dye and see what happens. I was pleased with the results and decided to try a little Kiwi boot polish on top of the Rit dye. Here is the finished product... I think it's sexy.

Peace,
GutWrench

Without knowing what it looked like before...and why some people don't like it...I'll say it looks darn nice to me now.

Are you waiting for one of these?:

Ok, I didn't even recognize your sheath as the original when I saw it..... I have no idea how you smoothed out the finish but it looks rich and deep now. Much nicer than mine looks (the factory sheath) Great Job!

Yep, that's me waiting on one of those. It's "out for delivery" now. :)

Thanks guys... I have actually been a lurker of this forum since 2005. Just don't post much. This is a good place.
