Refinishing a Lionsteel ti spine

I have a Lionsteel ti spine, I’d really like to have it finished all black. Not sure if cerakote or anodizing is the way to go. Anybody have any recommendations on which way to go with this project, or who to do it?

Cerakote is tough. It can have either a dull or glossy finish. There are several business's in the US that will cerakote a blade.

Another option you didn't mention is DLC (diamond like carbon) which is a very tough black finish. It's used by some knife makers. There is a member here at Bladeforums who has his own DLC coating business. His name is Josh, his username is "REK Knives", his website is rekknives.com, and he has his own sub-forum here in the Hosted Knifemakers sub-forum. Here's a link to his sub-forum- https://www.bladeforums.com/forums/rek-knives.946/

Anodizing is more suited for aluminum and titanium. Steel can be anodized (referred to as passivation) but it is a more complicated process than those other metals. My understanding is that DLC is tougher/more wear-resistant than passivation.
