refinising blades

I have a few blades that I needed to reprofile with a diamond "stone"

Anyway, a couple of times I carelessly layed the blade all the way down on the stone. This resulted in lots of scratches.

I'm interested in hearing your ideas of how I can make this blades look like new. I have scratches on satin finished blades and mirror blades.

There is no easy way to refinish a blade by hand. You could have it bead blasted if your so inclined.
