Refinsh or not?

I have the two knives shown below, a 5/16" A2 Mean Street and a A2 Bager Attack, both which have been used little but have the paint is flaking off. I have the equipment and the skills to refinish them with a bead blasted finish that will make them look new, but not original. Would they have greater collector value to leave them as is and use them occasionally or refinish them? Just curious.

I would leave them as-is, and, if you do wish to refinish, though I'm sure your refinishing would be good quality, collector value will best be preserved with a shop refinish.

If you don't plan on keeping them forever, don't do a thing to them. Haste makes waste, and in this case it would be your money.

I agree, leave them as is. This way you can also use them and it will cause no greater loss in value.
