this is similar to skinny joe's question below but... i bought a kydex sheath for an ontario rat-5. just got it and it holds pretty well but there is a shaking rattle that i am not happy with. i always hear "it shouldnt rattle if its made right" but it wasnt fit to my particular blade but one that was in house.

what is the method for heating a kydex sheath to reduce rattle and fit a little tighter? i do not have nor do i wish to buy rivets or eyelets. wanna keep this "simple" if at all possible. appreciate and help guys! -CB

You will have to borrow the wife`s/girlfriends hair dryer ,make a board with rubber or foam on the one side then warm the kydex up and press it with the rubber ,be carefull don`t get it to hot.
