Man...I've been quiet here for a few months; there's been some pretty wild family issues happening that have kept me away from the computer and have kept my wallet firmly closed. Yet, despite knowing that I can't really contribute much to this forum right now, and that I don't generally have the funds to support Fiddleback with a purchase at this point, I still can not help but pull up a seat for the Friday show.
This is one of the highlights of my week and I absolutely can't wait to see what's coming up today. The tapered tangs have had me drooling...Fiddleback's work just seems to get better and better with every batch. To say I'm impressed would be a gross understatement.
Who knows...maybe I'll see that perfect Tuxedo config Hunter or Bushfinger I've been waiting for. Maybe it'll be the week I'm just going to say "to hell with it" and give my Visa another workout

With all of the outstanding knives Fiddlback has on offer it is so hard to pass on purchasing something week after week, but the "suffering" sure is worth the show. So happy to be able to see a true crafstman hone their craft in real time like this: it is a pleasure and an honor, and I will be glad to join you all in pulling up a seat for what is the greatest show on Bladeforums, IMO
Good luck with the purchasing all.
EDIT: This is unrelated but I thought it might pump up the hype for todays sale, so I will add it. In the financial woes that have befallen me recently I have had to sell off a lot of my luxury possesions. At this point I have sold every single knife I own (minus a few cheap folders in my tool box and tackel boxes) EXCEPT the Fiddlebacks I have purchased on this forum. So, my knife collection has effectively shrunk to nothing but Fiddlebacks and I couldn't be happier about that. Can't wait until I can add some more. I don't have as much experience as many of you (I didn't really have any knife worth morth than $50 before buying my first Fiddleback) but I feel pretty confident in saying that anyone would be hard pressed to find a better feeling, more functional piece of knife/art than a Fiddleback!
