Refresh my Memory re Jackhammer

I don't remember it offered with anything other than something that looked like Sage (but was called Desert Tan) that went with the Busse 1911, the Competition Grade Jack Hammer from the 2008 Humpoganzaaaaa‏, and some camo and satin blades from various shows and ganzaaas, but those are just the ones Jerry talked about here. There were no doubt other versions sold at shows.

The reason I ask is that on a fire-arms related forum a person is asking if the price at which he is being offered an un-used, black-coated Jackhammer with sheath is fair. This would be a face-to-face sale. He does not have a picture. I don't recall a black-coated Jackhammer being offered.

I think it is a good buy if genuine, but hesitate to tell him so because I would not want to promote sale of a fake.

Here's mine new/unused :-)

It's not as slicy as the new Axe Hammer, the Axe has a finer edge to it. My CBT model is sharp to the touch but I've never used it more of a safe queen.

I thought the very first Jackhammer was sold ONLY in combination with a Les Baer Custom .45. They were sort of a desert combo IIRC.

Edited to add:... I just repeated what JohnTheTexan wrote. DOH!

There might be a few here & there, found at shows most likely.
I picked up these twins a few years back @ Blade, but these are Tanker Grey & black g10.

Thanks--good to know.

Seems like I remember someone sending a comp finished one in for a black coating with black paper handles. Back when that was possible. :grumpy::D
