I've been pondering this for days!
I was leaning tward a Kleen Kanteen.
Then I was at WaldoMart tonite and there it was!
For $10 and super versatile.....Stanley Adventure 32oz Multi Use Bottle.
Part stainless and part plastic can use it to boil if need be and it's light weight....
(Fits perfect in my Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack)
Life Time Warranted as well!

Worth checking out.....some positive YouTube reviews of it.
Other places like Amazon give it 4 outta 5 stars.

Yeah for 10 bux what the hay!
I was considering a Guyotdesigns Backpacker Stainless Steel Mug-GD601.
But I think I'm gonna like the Stanley a lot...now for a 32oz Hot Liquid insulated Stainless for Cold Weather!

Looks pretty cool! I've been big into the Platy soft bottles lately, and would add a canteen cup if I was anywhere where fire was possible.

Yeah I've been on a bottle kick lately to. Mc sports has all there kleen kanteens on clearance. Just picked up 2 18oz for $6 each for my sons new pack. I've been carrying 2 27oz SS bottles daily in my truck and work for 4 years now but wanted to switch up to 2 32oz nalgene bottles cause I recently got a 75 liter pack but that Stanley looks sweet. Gonna have to stop at Wally world and take a peep at this. Nice post man!

Thanx TRog!
Yeah I have an eye for deals and things that might be handy.
My gears are always turning! :D

I have three 40 oz stainless canteens. And it's still not enough water for one day if I'm working hard. I really do need a larger water container.

That's understandable.
This is geared more twards being packable for a day hike or similar.
Be a handy for survival purposes cuz you can boil questionable water if need be.
Would definitely be better than a plastic bottle you see Guys use on survival shows.
Tough to boil in those!

A metal water bottle I bought from the Dollar Tree to replace the 27oz Katadyn that I lost. If you find a Katadyn on the side of the Appalachian trial near Hot Springs, please return it to me. Reward if found.

Nalgene Silo is 48 oz IIRC. Might make a difference.
I carry and use a 32 oz basic, wide mouth Nalgene.

MSR Dromedary bags. They've got 4 sizes ranging from 2 to 10 liters, they have attachable hydration tubes, shower heads and water filters, and they are the toughest water bladders you can get. I find the 4 liter one (just over 1 gallon) is about enough for a day of hard work. The standard cap has two different valves so you can drink straight from the bladder, or fill up bottles/canteens.
