Could someone tell me what the $20.00 refurb includes. Is this service available for Classic Wood Inlays?

Thanks,
Alex

Contact CRK for specifics. If your wood is OK I would suggest sending it in for a tune/sharpen. They put an absolute killer edge on the blade and take it apart and clean and lube it. This is for only $8.00. If your wood is scratched up, then the refurb would take the wood through the finishng process and bring it to new condition. I've sent a couple in for sharpening and have been very happy with the results.

Thanks for the rely Scott Dog.
I guess i should have made myself a little clearer. My wood is fine, I clean my knife myself, and (trying not to sound like a blowhard) I think I sharpen better than CRK.
What I was thinking of was a removal of the wood, reblasting the handle, repolishing the sides, putting the wood back in (or replacing it), and polishing the blade.
In other words, a TOTAL REFURB.
Has anyone else had this done? How much did it cost? Is it available from CRK?

Thanks again,
Alex

Again I would say to contact CRK for specifics. The wood is held in place by very strong two sided tape made by 3M. I don't think that the wood can be taken out without busting it up. If you clean lube and sharpen it yourself, I'm not quite sure why you would send it in. Talk to Bridget, she's a sweatheart and will answer your questions to your satisfaction. I've sent sebbies in for the double thumblug treatment and a tune/sharpen and I've been totally blown away by the sharpness of the blades that I get back. Right out of the box the blades are sharp (but not scary sharp) and my abilities to get a knife sharp are nothing to bragg about. But when I send them in for a sharpening, they come back awesome. IMHO I think every sebbie owner should send it to the CRK sharpmaster. I think you'll be impressed. I was.
