Refurbished Sabre Japan "Original Bowie"

Found an old Sabre Japan original Bowie at a flea market and saw a project. Here is the blade before my project (not my pic, forgot to take one)

Decided to put a patina on the baked, new handle from a tree in the back and made a sheath for it.

This was one of my first projects I did with a refurbish but I like how it turned out.

I found that the knife wasn't useful as it was and needed a makeover. Let me know what you think!

Nice! Very rustic looking.
That knife was the first one I ever purchased.It cost me about a buck but actually survived quite a bit of abuse. I was in 1st grade and it was the go to Tarzan knife.
Other kids in my neighborhood were carrying rubber knives. Some of their moms were not overly thrilled with my "real" knife.
