I recently inherited a 110 from 1985 that has been thoroughly abused. I can't imagine how my stepfather managed to even break of the head of one of the pins holding the handle scales on as well as reduce the blade by length and width by perhaps breaking and grinding it? My question is: Can it be refurbished and supplied with a new blade? Is it possible to get a BG-42 blade? If yes, what would the costs be? Thanks in advance for any information.

From the description, i could not tell for sure if we could actually fix that knife. It is covered under the warrantee though. Contact me via email and we can discuss the possibility of changeing out the blade for one of BG-42.
