Recently BF.C has been hit with a rash of spammers and alot of members respond to it. Some of it is done in jest and done with some humor involved but here are two kinds of responses to spammers we could do without:
We hate to see people responding as if it were a legitimate ad. "What's the blade length?" "Is that the old model or the new version?" "My bank account number is 723575936559 -- please send the $30,000,000 from Nigeria immediately."
It makes no sense to post "Where are the moderators? This guy is a spammer, ban him!" We don't see the replies to the spam until we've already read and dealt with the spam.
Click the "report bad post" icon instead, the triangle with the red exclamation point. After you've done that you can post if it amuses you, but please try to phrase your thoughts in terms that are suitable for this forum.
