What's up with this 2009 bill that's to outlaw poc new pocket knives in the U.S. ? Any new developments ?
 
If you're talking about customs' decision to ban the importation of one hand opening knives and reclassify them as switch blades, then I believe congress made a law, or passed a resolution or something similar, exempting assisted openers and one hand opening knives from the switchblade act. All I know is that it was blocked somehow. Hope this helps at least a little bit.
