Regarding the GEC H30 & H40

I saw the release advert from GEC and saw the lottery that one dealer did. Other than that I have not seen them available anywhere. Have just recently branched into fixed blades and don't know too much about GEC's process for releasing them. Are they limited in number and likely sold before they are released? Any info is appreciated.

I'm curious about this release too. I've been checking dealers sites the last four days and seeing none of the new release fixed blades.
Was considering a H40 since seeing the production pics on GEC's website. ???

Apparently each dealer automatically gets an allotment from the runs of folders but has to specifically request fixed blades. I think dealers are equally in the dark about fixed blade releases and don't always request them in time. Maybe some dealers don't even bother with the fixies due to the limited, seemingly sporadic runs.

I just got an H40 from a dealer who has been very helpful over several runs. It's nice and I wouldn't mind having another.

Edit to add that you may have to reach out to a dealer directly in order to get one. No clue how many are left in circulation.

I think this is the key, and why we aren't seeing any GEC knives being listed at dealers' sites.
I think all the dealers already have their stock sold before they get them. You need to be on a list somewhere.
