Registered User posting pictures

Greetings, I have been a registered member for about 2 yrs now, and I have never been able to post any pictures. I was assuming this was because I am not a paying member. But after reading numerous post, I have seen many registered users posting pictures and changing avatars. Am I doing somthing wrong? Whats the deal? I would like to share some pictures with the rest of the Blade Fourms comunity. Thank you for any information.
 
Upload your pics to a photo server such as www.photobucket.com and then you can post pics here. Using BFC's server to host your pics is not allowed as a registered user.
 
When you make a post you can scroll down and use the "manage attatchments" button to browse your computer for pics. If you are a paying member. You may need to resize them using the XP image resizer tool to make them small enough for them to upload though. Once you do that they show as a small thumbnail in the bottom of the post.

Or use a host server to store them and paste the Http address in the box for "image" after clicking the yellow box right under the color down arrow.
Even on those the image can be so large it make the page spread out so that everyone that has to read the post has to zig zag back and forth to read the script. So it is best to resize those as well.

If you don't have the windows image resizer tool on your computer get it free here. It is a great help in using the 'manage attatchments' tool for the BF. Once you download the tool just right click on any picture in your computer and it gives you like four or five sizes to choose from instantly. Great feature to have.

Once again...registered user are not allowed to upload pics directly to BFC. :rolleyes:
 
I do not think that registered users can even have an avatar anymore. If you an avatar before the change to vBulletin 3.0 you are able to keep it. If you signed up after the change you don't get to have an avatar if you are a registered user.

For quick reductions on photos, are Mac users SOL? Is there a low cost or freeware doohicky that can perform this?
