Registration problem

I'm new here. And hoping to sign up at some other places as well. I know it's kinda taboo to talk about other forums sometimes but I'm hoping for just a little help here.

I'm trying to sign up over at the Spyderco forum and I can't get in. I get this question

What trademarked verbiage appears just below the Spyderco logo above?:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

Problem is, I don't have an image since I'm using my iPhone. Can someone help me out here? I tried sending a message on the "contact us" button but have received no reply.

Yeah the verbiage they ask for doesn't appear when using the mobile version of the site. Something they should think about adding if they're going to require it. As an alternative, the user should be able to request to view the desktop site (vs. the mobile version) through your browser settings. I know I can with my Android phone, not sure about an iPhone.

I really wish I could request desktop on my iPhone. I liked it better.
 
They really should change it up for mobile users, I went through the same thing and took me forever to figure it out. You have to go to the spyderco home page to see the logo with the slogan, then go back to the sign up page and start over.

Hi Jazzz,

Well, I have been asking if site can be tuned for mobile or user can request desktop version even on mobile. Kirsti has graciously answered that it is currently not possible and they selected the forum engine considering everything including (to me very important) security. :thumbup:

Let's wait. Perhaps in future there'll be selected made available (not promised, but one can always hope ;) ).
