Regret selling any Busses? Or memorable sales?

Hello, gang,
There's another thread over in the customs forum with this exact same question, so I thought I'd post it here. So far, I haven't had to sell any really good Busses, but I did sell my first Busse, a CG Satin Jack about 2 months after I got it, then I bought a Battle Mistress, and I've never been the same. I eventually bought another CG SJ.
The only others I have sold are:
1) a BA3 to a soldier who is going to use, so I have no regrets here.
2) Terror Monkey NO, but I got another one, and bought the other one for less than I sold the second one for.
I know some of you could go on and on about which Busses you've sold and why, but for those of you with long lists like that do any sales stick out?

I have never sold a Busse knife. I have traded two and that is all. That might change down the road, but not so right now.

I sold my first Busse, a Steel Heart-e, many years ago, still miss 'er.

yup, that's why I don't sell them. Althoug, that may change on certain occasions. I don't mind trading, but the one I traded off I do regret trading but I don't regret what I got in trade for it.

Man, Oh man, the stories, the pain, the drama!!!!

Buying knives, selling knives,,,,then talking to Jerry and finding out later what I sold.:foot:

Then the more simple pains of selling knives out of the first batch of Busse knives I bought full retail, after carrying at least one of them 200,000 plus miles in my truck.

Then the pain of selling my Favorite, a Triple ground BM-E at Blade Show West 2001,to a Marine Lt. on his way to Afganistan right after 9/11/2001, because he could not wait to get one ordered,,,he simply did not have the time before deployment.

No Regrets,,,,,Just pain, and maybe a little pride for the gesture, and a little shame for making a profit on it.

Sell em, trade em, you bet! What better way to find out what is the right Busse for you. I mean don't get me wrong, I would've kept em all but I'm by no means a rich man and having a maxed out CC isn't my idea of getting by. So yeah... selling and trading is a good way for me at least to get a chance to feel what is right for me. There's even a couple that are safe queens, wish list Busses, that will go if something else comes up that I just got to have.

Regrets.... yeah one, DC Meaner Street with black canvas. I miss that one. May have to get another someday.

A rare mint black coated ZTSH on ebay, because I knew no better. Well I did on the last day after been asked so many questions about it and doing some research into it. Meaning asking "Skunk" what it was. As the song goes "Regrets I've had a few". But in the end it certainly put a smile on the winners face and was a good start to his collecting of Busse I believe. And hey I got plenty, so "No Regrets". Share the love..........

Hey, I resemble that remark. Just received that ZT SH today and that makes #2 as I also got one from our good friend at Buy Brown. Both are unused and crinkle coated so not sure how rare they are but Dave said 1 of 12. Merry Christmas adn Happy New Year to all.:p :p :p :p :p

Probably about 10 or so out of the 18 I've had to sell I wish I had them back. The E-handles weren't really my thing I found out. The absolute biggest regret was my SHBM. Funny thing is though that it was sold to 2 other forumites after me then I ended up getting it back:D My life was good after that!

Just 1, that I really didn't mean to sell, but know where it is and (hopefully), have the option of buying it back when the funds get right.

Like Solstice said, you have to buy and sell a lot to find just the right ones for you. No Regrets there. This 1 just happened to be one of those 'right' ones.

No, I'm not going to say who, what, where.
