This is what I would do (and have done). Pardon the rambling explanation... Some may think this is obvious, some may have a better way. That's fine. This is one possible way, and it has worked for me, and I know there are some people looking for a way to do it without powered grinding, so hopefully this can be as useful to them as it has been to me.
Did I really need to wreck that knife's tip?
