Hey all title says most of it, been poking around for someone who does regrinds. Trying to get a regrind on my strider pt, great knife just too thick behind the edge for my tastes. So far the big name I see is Tom Krein but I looked at his website and his books are closed for that type of stuff. Just wondering if you guys know of any other service, also does strider themselves offer a "custom" regrind service?

I'm not sure of your situation but this is what I did with my SnG. I used my Lansky deluxe diamond system on it and re-beveled the edge to 17 degrees and finished up with the fine diamond. It came out screaming sharp, holds its edge through heavy cutting. I'm not talking about cutting cardboard or opening mail. Cutting seasoned oak and maple, zip ties and working in the dirt cutting roots and plants. To touch it up I just run it over a ceramic rod and it's crazy sharp again. For about $80 you have a great knife sharpening set up and you don't have to send your knife out. Hope this helps.

Hit up Josh at Razor Edge Knives - you can see the FFG he did on my PT - @notoriousedc on Instagram. Awesome job and he cerakoted the whole thing black. Super nice job!
