I would like to have the blade on my Blackbird reground. The chisel edge doesnt perform as well as I would like. I would like to have this done professionally. Where can I send the knife??

forum memeber bandityo (?) reground a commander i had for a while, very well done looked factory, reground it to a 'V' grind, very sharp, sharpest commander i have seen, i got the knife in a swap so no idea what it cost. but it did look factory, very clean grind lines, very uniform, well done.

cons? well, it ruins the value of the knife, if ya plan on using/carrying it, no problem, not much collector value though.

Im not much of a collector. I am very impressed with the overall quality and ergonomics of the Blackbird. I would like to rotate that knife back into my carry rotation and get some use out of it. I dont want to ruin the temper of the blade by regringing it myself. I know of a local sharpening service. I will give them a call.

Caution, most local sharpening services dont know anything about good knives. They grind everything like it was a lawnmower blade, scissors, or cheap kitchen knife.
