I have seen it mentioned that Busse will regrind or thin an edge at your request.

Has anyone had this done? Can you tell us about how much it costs- or would it be on a case by case basis?

Also- how do you describe how much to thin it? Angle, thickness, use? Does it result in losing quite a bit of the coating? Were you happy with the results?

And, if I haven't already asked enough, how about some pics if possible!

I'm thinking about trying to make my FSH a better slicer.

TIA, Mike

I'm curious too. Thinning the edge on Infi should not affect its performance or durability that much I would think. Any opinions?

Wow- somebody must have had this done- I've seen it mentioned at least five or six times.

I'm sure the steel is up to it as plenty of people have done it on their own- I just don't have the equipment or the skill- and I'm not looking to practice on a new FSH!
