I've gotten rid of a lot of my one hand openers, especially the smaller ones. I've only kept the Native 5, 4 and the Bob T, and a small micarta Sebenza. The few other one handers are full size models.

I've been carrying mainly slipjoints lately, but put my Manix 2 and 2XL in the truck. Recovering from a broken leg and a broken back, I don't get very far on my old hiking trails, but I have been tossing either the 2 or 2XL in my pocket. I have come to appreciate smaller blades for their ease of carry, and of use (brought on by use of slipjoints). Anyway, I find myself going for the 2XL more often. The big handle fits my big paws better. Must be something psychological too, bigger is better although that may not be the case. Anyway, I usually have a smaller slipjoint with me, so if the 2xl is too big, no problem.

Out of the Spyderco patterns, do you go with the Millie or the Para? The Manix or mini Manix? Manix 2 or Manix 2xl? Police or Rookie ;).

I do have to say that the Manix is my favorite one hander pattern, and I really like the ball lock.

I have both the Military and the Para 2, along with a Manix 2, Superleaf, Endura 4 and several other of the larger Spydercos. I have to say that the Para 2 is probably my favorite of the larger Spydies to EDC. I find the Military to be slightly large, and bulky in the pocket.

Like the millie in hand, but I keep going back and forth with the Para 2- it just
likes to clip to my water-pak.

I'm eagerly waiting for the larger versions of the native.

I don't find the military obtrusive in the pocket at all. It's one of my favorite edc's period.
I carried my para 2 every now and then, but i like the liner lock action of the military much better .
I think it rides thinner in the pocket than most other folders i own.
