Regular Sebbie?

I was wondering if the regular large sebenza will ever come back into production or if it is never going to be made again? I wish they would. I much prefer the look of the reg to the 21. I like the handle cut out better, the jimping, and I like the blade shape much more also. If they aren't making these any more, are they hard to obtain and if you get one...should you use it? Will CRK warrent it still?
 
No worries, i just got off the phone with Nostradamus and he said they will start making them again tomorrow....fixed blades also. :D
 
I agree with you. I much prefer the Reg over the 21. I have a small 21 and still looking for a large Reg in my future (not hard looking currently). I wish the blade on the Small Reg had the deep belly as the Large one. I love lots of belly on my knives for hunting purpose.

However I think we are out of luck. Closest to the Reg is the Umnumzaan. Thats it. I have no hesitation to use my Reg or my foreseen large. CRK stands behind their products no matter what!

I much prefer the regular sebenza to the 21 style, your not alone. For me, its more blade profile than anything, but the regular all then way for me.

The only time they make regulars now is with the annual limited edition sebenzas. Other than that they do not.........I do not see them bringing them back either. Once CRK quites making something, they dont come back to it. Its like a chapter in a book, they leave whats in the past the past and are always looking to the future and what lies ahead.

CRK Warranty is Lifetime, even if its a discontinued model. They keep extra parts on hand for this very reason.
 
Not hard to get at all, still in production.

You just need to buy one of the "annual" limited editions to get one. :D :D :D
 
Ive been trying sooo Hard to get in touch with Nostradamus!!

If he says CRK is going to start making the Regular again It Must Be True.

I finally reached Nostradamus.If anyone needs his private number I Have It.


I Really Like my large Regular better than a 21 or a Classic.

well some people dont like the regular, but it is my favorite, the wavy cut outs really are eye appealing IMO, and provide somewhat of a grip on the knife, no matter which sebenza you get, you will love it ;)
 
I prefer the Regular as well, but think the Umnum was likely too similar in the blade to offer both(just my opinion). My small Reg is going nowhere other than to CRK for some spa treatment in the future. I looked into getting another blade made up a while back and if the girl on the other end of the line was correct, that wouldn't be an issue.

Well, they did release the Classic 2000, then the Sebenza 21 replaced that and the "regular" model, soooooo......
