Is there a Regular Sebenza with BG-42 blade steel and wide jimping?

Don't think so. The only wide jimping I've seen were from from 2004(ish) and the BG42 blades ended in Jan 2002.

The wide jimping was only produced in the 1st quarter of 04'--well after they stopped using BG42. The wide jimping is super cool LOOKING, but isn't nearly as functional as the standard jimping--in my opinion.

I have small Insingo and 08' Zaan so between those two,I think that large regular would complete the trilogy.I do like wide jumping but, Large regular with BG-42 blade steel is a must for me.Well, hunt is on.:)

So between old pivot Zaan and Regular with wide jimping,is it a difference in a jimping feel and functionality?

I got an 04 with the wide jimping not to long ago, and wondered how long they did that. I knew it wasn't long, but didn't know it was for only one quarter. Thanks for the info.
And I agree, it is super cool looking. I haven't used an 04, but the wider jimping feels great to me, as does any CRK jimping for that matter.
