I looked for a thread on the regular two blade trappers but couldn't find one. Let's see those trappers if you have them. I don't know how to post pics so I'll just say I'm carrying an older case trapper given to me for father's day in 1999. great knife it has the green bone scales and ss blades.:)

This one was always a favorite of mine but too big for pocket carry until I recently picked up this sheath from a local leather craftsman. Gets a lot more carry time now.

Gotta start with my most recent aquisition, a wharncliffe trapper from "thejamppa".

It has the standard main clip blade and the wharncliffe is the secondary (shown open in the photo).

Here's Remington 1178 Mini trapper pattern:

And a picture of the Remington R-293? trapper which dwarfs the 1178. Need a belt pouch for this guy for sure. I don't carry this one.

From top to bottom:

An Eye Brand of approximately the same vintage as Elliot's, a Hoffritz pen knife that we can disregard, a Ken Erickson trapper, and an old Robeson trapper with Case blades.

Here's a photo of the Buck 329 same end trapper (made a couple years per SMKWs special order, 1988ish), that looks like a bunch of other ones.
They are discontiued but float to the top of the bay pretty frequently. Buck stamped but really Camillus made.

Will throw in the BUCK made 312, a little smaller in size, out of production also but even more frequent on bay watch. Older one has the brass spring rivet.1990 to 99.

Next to last the Buck made 314/312 Limited Edition set in Ebony scales (1993). Difficult to acquire.
A imported Buck 314 size knife can be had fairly cheap, the 384.

Dead last is a 314 and 312 by David Yellowhorse (1993 to 97), still possible to find. Buck 305 pen knife as mascot.

Cool Buck.

Just wanted to point out, the words "Under God" were added to the Pledge in 1954. Strange that used the "traditional" version :p .

An old one my father once carried.

Here's my one and only full-sized regular Trapper. It was my first Case knife (about five years ago) and it started my love affair with them. This is the jigged amber bone with CV blades.

I can contribute to this one...

I also don't think we should forget these ones.

I began working on my patina this evening. Pork and zucchini have done a number on it so far.

Here's my yella cv trapper ...

It's unreal how sharp I can get this thing.

I've got a Case Yellow Trapper in CV, but I want to get a new (old ) one that has round bolsters instead of the flat ones that they have now.

Still a good knife though. I wound up thickening out the blade on my spey though, as I can't get it to shave worth a crap anymore--but yeah, use to be able to get it wicked sharp.
