i want to buy a sebenza but cannot find a description of the differences between these 2 versions. is it only the stone wash ? thanx for the help

The regular has a fuller belly blade and is not as easy to open. I personally like the classic better, but my first Sebby was a Regular. I bought it because I like the blade better. Classic handle+regular blade=better design IMO.

I have a large classic, but I have not seen the regular. Could someone post pics? Thx! :)

I prefer the Classic - to me the Regular looks mishapen. Is it me, or are they almost bent? They seem like two rough slabs of titanium, whereas the Classic is shaped. I notice the "bent" look of the Regular on the annual woods, on the lock side.

Thx guys! I really like my classic, but the blade profile on the regular is sweet. Can you swap blades on these?

As far as Ive read on here, no, you cant swap blades. Besides, the blades are hand fitted to each knife, so I dont think swapping any Sebenza blades would work out well... .

I know it has been said, unswappable. Anybody ever try ?? I only have a regular I use but no classic. I understand these knives are CNC milled. They must be the same blade but for the points. I plan to scallop my regular to be closer to the classic thumb opening.

I guess I should watch the CRK DVD. I did not realize the blades are hand-fitted. Maybe I'll just have to buy a regular :)

I also chose the regular because I liked the blade much better. I'm not too crazy about the looks of the "scalloped" handles, but they do serve a purpose. And it is very easy to open and close the blade, contrary to what some people may tell you.

Can't go wrong either way.

I have a small regular i like it. it may be a bit to small for my hands but it is a great knife.

I like the regular better. Guess thats why they make both. To each is own. I do have both also just a preference likeing the regular better though for me easier to open and close.

I prefer the classic myself. Ive never handled a regular, but the classic just looks nicer IMHO. The handle has a nice shape to it-I guess kind of like a "bone" shape. Wider at the ends, and more narrow in the middle. It looks really cool... . ;) :)

I also like the fact that theres actually a "model name" on the handle of the classic. Call me crazy, but I think the regulars are a bit too plain looking-only sporting the "CR" logo. I mean I dont use the knife to show off, and hence would not need any name on the knife, but I really prefer that. Its probably an additional eye catcher-personal preference really. ;)

I like the regular better because of the blade shape. Ordered it with double thumb lug for the look and easier opening but not sure if that helps
Can't wait to get it.

My Sebenza is the large regular, but I want to get a large or small Classic. I realize the Classics I've handled seem a bit more comfortable in my hands. But I still love my regular.

I like the regulars better. I own both and cannot get used to the half moon index finger cut out on the classic both in terms of looks and comfort. My index finger will rub against the corner of the cut out and if I am using it for an extended period of time this will cause some irritation. My hands are small so your milage may vary!
