Forgive my newbeeness. I have a small classic for about two months now and really like it. I am thinking about getting a large Sebenza but I am not sure which to get. What are the differences between the Classic and the Regular?
I can see that the cutout for the frame release is a little largeer on the Classic. Any other differences?
Thanks in advance.

I feel bad. I did a search "regular classic" and got a ton of information. I'm leaning toward a large Classic.

I should be receiving my first Classic today, LG W/Ebony inlay. I plan to do comparisons to the 3 Regular Larges that I already own.

I had a regular and sold it. I have handled a classic and i loved it and i will buy one once i have the funds.

I have noticed that many people here in the past have said that they prefer the classic for the small, and regular for the large. My local knife shop owner also told me that that's what most of his customers prefer too.

I personally think that the regular is best for both sizes.

I only have a classic. What makes you prefer a classic over a regular, and vice versa?

I have both a large regular and large classic. I like the feel of the large regular handle in my hand, but like the ease of opening a classic with its thumb relief. Ah, so many choices...

Classic all around for me. I've had both Sm. and Lg., Classics and Regs. Greatly prefer the classic for its handle ergos.

I own only one CRK, and that's a large reg Sebenza, which I've had for about 4.5 years now. I love the knife, but since I've handled classics, and my next planned CRK purchase will probably be a small classic. I actually like the feel of the classic handles in my hands better. It feels more ergonomic to me. But seeing as I won't be able to afford the extra funds for some time, I'm quite happy with my reg.

Since you can only get inlays in classics, that's what makes the decision for me. Does anyone think the handle ergonomics on a regular is so much better that it overcomes the comfort of a classic with micarta scales?

One of these days I'm going to give in and buy a large sebbie so this question is more than academic for me.

I like the regular's non tapered handle and lock bar grooves, but I like the classic's blade shape.

Regular small, Classic large. Regular blade shape better, but handle better in Classic, especially in large version.
