I'm curious.. how rare is a Regular Large Sebenza with silver stud and spacer? My B08 Regular Large came without a hint of blue.

I also just came across a B07 Regular Large very lightly used listed at $1895, not sure what to make of that.
What are the older "Regular" Seb's selling for nowadays?

I always liked the looks of the original versions better.

Personally, I wouldn’t pay the prices some are listing them for.

It’s ruining the appeal of collecting CRKs. At some point people who paid double or triple for a common knife will want to sell. I’m not a potential buyer anymore for any of those knives, even though I have plenty of knife money.I’m only splurging on knives I plan to keep forever, and that ended after 2 knives.

I seem to remember TNK offering knives with silver hardware, and I am sure anyone could order one from CRK that way.
But I wouldn't pay $1895 even if it had purple pokadot hardware.
Opinions may vary

Just two is really impressive. I really liked the simplicity of life when I had just two folders (a CRK and SAK; still my favorite combo and current EDC).

I’ve tried several things over the years, but in the end, it’s all simply reinforced my belief a small sebbie is the knife for me. Two would have lasted me a lifetime.

So… a lot of time and money to end up where I started, but I’ve enjoyed the learning and am very confident in my choice.

I think a lot of CRK owners have gone through the same BM/Spydie/etc cycle searching for the perfect knife, then finally paid up for the CRK and sold off most of the previous options... I certainly did.
Nowadays I've kind gone full circle - my jeans edc since 2000 is a Lg Reg Seb and lightweight shorts has been a Spyderco Dragonfly. And oddly, after so many years, I've started buying again with generally the same results.. go through a bunch of lightweight BMs only to end up with a CF/Ti Small 31 and CF/Ti Inkosi along with a full Ti Small 31.. we'll see who wins there.
Biggest CRK regret.. selling my Umfaan 20 years ago when I quit wearing slack pants. Never carried it again, figured it was too valuable to leave laying around - thats another lesson learned about CRK's, don't sell them for a long time, even the ordinary end up worth more than original when its production ends.

I got curious and pulled up a pic of all my UG's from several months ago, and realized I don't have a single UG Regular with silver studs. Originals, 21's and 31's, but no Regulars. I pulled up some older pics, and it seems I've never owned a UG Regular with silver studs.
