Regulator

check with your local propane distributor, I got one from a local distributor for around $35, ajustable from 0 to 30lb.

Good luck

Thanks Bill. I will look in the yellow pages. I called the welding supply place in town and they wanted $125.00 I hate going to town...

Like Bill I also got mine from the local propane dealer. Be sure to get the gauge also. 0-15psi is plenty of flow for heating and welding. Total costs about $45. I suggest buying a new one so you dont buy someone elses problems.

Try home depot or lowes. They carry them in the outdoor grill or garden center.

I'm using a acetylene regulator that I got from Harbor Freight for about $35. It has two gages. One shows the PSI of the gas in the tank, and the other shows the PSI of the gas passing through the regulator. The regulator goes form 0 to 30 PSI and it fits a gas grill propane tank perfectly.

The regulators like you find at HomeDepot or Lowes are turkey regulators that only put out enough PSI to get you hurt.
